If you’re new to TXST or you’ve recently been handed a website to maintain, these are the basics you’ll need to get started.
What is Gato?
Gato is the content management system (CMS) used by TXST to create websites. Gato allows you to create and design pages with photos, media, and text – all without knowing how to code. The newest Gato template is called Calico. You must complete Gato Essentials Training and Calico Transition Training before you can begin to build websites. Gato is supported and maintained by the IT Assistance Center (ITAC).
Branding Your Website
Websites must follow guidelines from Marketing and Communications. Gato makes it easy to maintain a consistent experience with brand-approved colors and text.
